To reset the software to its factory default settings you need to remove a key stored in the registry.
WARNING
Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious, system-wide problems that may require you to
re-install Windows to correct them. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the
use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use this tool at your own risk.
- Close the Perseus software.
- At the taskbar, click Start|Run. Type 'Regedit' and press Return. The registry editor opens.
- Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microtelecom s.r.l.\perseus
- In the right pane, delete the following key/value:
"v1.0" (you can if you have installed previous versions of the software delete those keys as well)
- Exit the Registry Editor.
- Restart the Perseus software.
If you save the following below (between -- and --) into Notepad and save as ResetPerseus.reg to your desktop you can double click this file to clear the key at anytime in the future.
