If you're like me and have multiple programs that all want to use a COM port rather than an API or DLL which means you cannot share the port you're in luck. I have been playing with Perseus and BobCat (WoodboxRadio) and have found that BobCat and BobKnob both want the Perseus virtual com port 11. Using com0com which works very well you cannot share the port and allow two programs (even read only) access. After some searching about I have found VSPE from Eterlogic (visit), this once setup allows you to share the port Perseus uses for CAT requests.
You will need to setup the ports like below and you should be good to go!
